Lecturers of Tashkent State University of Law took part in the international conference devoted to the perspectives of the development of advocacy

The second international scientific-practical conference "Prospects for the development of the legal profession: the experience of Uzbekistan and foreign countries" took place in the hotel "Hyatt Regency Tashkent".

The conference was organized by the Bar Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan, Regional Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Central Asia, HELP Program.

The purpose of the event - strengthening the institute of the Bar, discussing issues of its development, exchange of experience with representatives of the legal community of foreign countries, analysis of foreign and national expert groups on the prospects of legal work in the era of digitalisation, finding solutions to emerging problems in providing free legal aid, improving the skills of lawyers and analysis of the system of qualified legal aid to businesses and investment activities, as well as exchange of views and experiences on a number of issues. The conference was attended by Dildora Kamalova, Dean of the Faculty of Criminal Justice of Tashkent State Law University, Valisher Davlatov, Head of the Department of Court, Law Enforcement and Advocacy, Professor Jasur Nematov and Associate Professors Dilshodbek Nurumov and Alibek Matmurotov, Senior Lecturer Jamshid Turdaliyev, and Gulchehra Tulaganova, a professor of the Department of Criminal Procedural Law.
