Representatives of TSUL took part in the international event on arbitration
The delegation headed by the deputy rector of Tashkent State University of Law, doctor of law, professor Islambek Rustambekov took part in the Arbitration Week in Istanbul.
During the Arbitration Week, Islambek Rustambekov gave a presentation on prospects of improvement of investment disputes resolution.
In particular, he discussed the UNCITRAL project on creation of a state international investment court.
Furthermore, a meeting was held with the founder and the chairman of the Center for Energy Dispute Resolution in Ankara and agreement was reached on cooperation and organization of internships for TSUL students studying on academic exchange in Turkey.
Also during the event a memorandum of cooperation between Tashkent Mediation Center and the Energy Dispute Resolution Center was signed and negotiations on creating a joint center of legal assistance to entrepreneurs operating in Uzbekistan and Turkey were held.
