The University is implementing a project worth 140 thousand US dollars of a grant from the Academic Innovation Fund of the World Bank.

Tashkent State Law University took part in the competition of the Academic Innovation Fund organized by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the World Bank with the project "An innovative form of expanding the availability of legal education through the Electronic University platform", and was recognized as one of the winners of the competition.

Currently, it is planned to sign a contract with the allocation of $ 140 thousand to finance activities under this project. The Grant Implementation Group envisages the following key project activities:

Announcement of a tender among specialists in computer programs and specialized software development firms for the creation of the "Electronic University" platform;

Consolidation on the basis of a single platform of electronic programs "Electronic Researcher", "Electronic educational process", "Electronic teacher", "Electronic student", "Electronic legal propaganda", as well as social programs for working with youth;

Study of modern information and communication technologies and programs of modern foreign universities (including through business trips and inviting foreign specialists as experts);

Development and testing of special online programs to expand access for girls and women to legal education in the process of creating the "Electronic University" platform;

publication of scientific articles based on the results of the project in journals indexed by international scientific and technical databases (Scopus, Web of Science, etc.), etc.

The Tashkent State University of Law has won in the competition for the project "an innovative form of expanding the availability of legal education through the platform" Electronic University "funding in the amount of 140 thousand US dollars and carried out the following activities:

1.On March 6, 2019, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent State University of Law signed a contract AiF 2/23 in the amount of 140 thousand US dollars.

2. The first concept of the project was developed by the working group for the implementation of the project.

3. Based on the approved work schedule of 5 leading universities in Uzbekistan (Tuit, University of Turin, University of Westminster, Inha University, University of Singapore), 3-4 day visits were carried out in May 2019 to familiarize themselves with existing e-learning programs and study the accumulated experience.

4. According to the decision of the tender committee that the services are cheap, high-quality and guaranteed, Uzinfocom was deemed competent to conclude an agreement with United Integrator LLC for the creation and maintenance of state information systems for a total amount of 178,922,265 soums (one hundred seventy-eight million nine hundred twenty two thousand two hundred sixty-five rubles).
