Women will be given educational loans at a 14 percent interest rate
Presidential Decree "On measures to support women's education in higher, specialized secondary and vocational
educational establishments"
According to the document, starting from the 2022-2023 academic year in all private, foreign, and state higher, secondary specialized, and professional educational institutions a new system of allocation of funds from the State budget to banks to finance educational loans on preferential terms for the education of women on a fee basis in the form of full-time, part-time and evening education.
In doing so:
- educational loans are provided at a rate of 14 %;
- The main part of the educational loan will be repaid within 7 years, starting from the seventh month after the official graduation of the student;
- When processing and repayment of educational loan is allowed the participation of family members of the student and other third parties with permanent income, as co-borrowers;
- No collateral or guarantee is required for educational loans to women from families on the "Single Social Security Registry".
