At the Legal Clinic of Tashkent State University of Law, a new Call Center has been established within the framework of the innovative project “Establishing a Legal Clinic to Assist in Solving Problems of Youth in Social Risk Groups” (Project No. ILM-202310202762). The Call Center aims to provide remote legal consultations to citizens, thereby helping students develop practical and communication skills. This center serves as an important step in offering free and remote legal advice to the public. Now, citizens can contact the clinic via short numbers and receive legal assistance without having to visit in person.
At the opening ceremony of the Call Center, a seminar was held dedicated to analyzing the results of surveys conducted in various regions. During the seminar, participants discussed the significance of the Call Center, its role in identifying and addressing the problems of youth in social risk groups, and its new opportunities for effective communication with citizens. Twenty volunteer students were selected to work at the Call Center, and it was noted that they had successfully completed a two-week internship at the call centers of the Ministry of Justice (1148 and 1008).
Additionally, specialists gave presentations on expanding access to legal assistance through the Call Center, delivering services to various segments of the population, saving time and resources through remote consultations, increasing legal literacy among the public, developing the activities of volunteer students, providing them with practical experience, and strengthening the role of legal clinics and call centers in an information society.
The event emphasized that the Call Center is not only a new stage in the legal aid system but also an innovative tool for realizing the potential of youth.
