TSUL and the branch of INPO "Regional Dialogue" (Slovenia) in Uzbekistan organized an international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Modern digital forensics: problems of theory and practice"

The international scientific and practical conference was attended by representatives of the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Scientific and Methodological Center for Digital Forensics of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republican Center for Forensic Science named after Kh. Sulaymonova under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Main Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, teachers of the Tajik State University of Law, the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the University of Public Security, industry experts, national and international experts.

The conference addressed the problems of digitalization of criminal procedural activities in the Republic of Uzbekistan and ways to solve them, the legal status of digital evidence, problems in this direction and ways to solve them, the advantages and disadvantages of using artificial intelligence in the investigation of cybercrime, the current state of biometrics in forensics and development prospects, problems of criminal procedure law and issues of international cooperation in the provision of evidence using information technology.

The participants of the conference were informed about the use of digital technologies in forensic examinations and the prospects for introducing artificial intelligence into the criminal process, the possibilities of forensic computer technical examination, and an exchange of views took place on the introduction of new technologies in the activities of digital examination.

In addition, during the scientific and practical conference, an exchange of views took place on eliminating problems and shortcomings that have arisen in the field, as well as information was provided on the experience of developed countries in the digitalization of forensic science and forensics. National and international experts, and specialists in this field made proposals for the further development of the industry in our country.
