TSUL Holds Meeting with Students Undertaking Internships at the Legal Clinic and the Association of Lawyers of Uzbekistan
As part of the dual education programme, a meeting was held with students undertaking internships at the Legal Clinic of Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) and the Association of Lawyers of Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by Otabek Narziyev, Head of the TSUL Department for Coordination of Clinical Legal Education and Chairman of the Association of Lawyers of Uzbekistan. He exchanged views with future legal professionals on professional training and current aspects of modern legal practice.
The discussion focused on the development of clinical legal education and its practical significance; new challenges and trends in the legal sector amid advances in information technology; the application of theoretical knowledge in practice and the improvement of professional skills; as well as the effective organization of internships and the efficient use of available opportunities.
The meeting was held in an open-dialogue format. Students received answers to their questions about the activities of the Legal Clinic and the Association of Lawyers of Uzbekistan, and shared their suggestions and comments on how to make practical training sessions more effective.
