Students of the Master's program at Tashkent State University of Law participated in the discussion of the UN Convention against Corruption

The model of the Conference of the states parties to the UN Convention against Corruption was conducted in the International Hotel Tashkent on "Mechanism of implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption: the second review cycle".

The event was organized by the Academy of General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the UNO Regional Office in Central Asia, and INGO "Regional Dialogue".

The conference was attended by teams of Master's program students from Tashkent State University of Law, University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Namangan State University, Westminster International University in Tashkent, the General Prosecutor's Academy, and the Higher School of Judges under the Supreme Judicial Council.

The conference, consisting of two rounds, was conducted in a competitive format.

The tasks were distributed among the participants through a special electronic program of automatic generation.

In the first round, the model states parties (Armenia, France, Germany, South Africa, Slovenia, and Uzbekistan) gave a presentation on the provisions of Article 8 of Chapter II of the UN Convention against Corruption.

In the second round, the States Parties presented proposals to improve national legislation by the provisions of the UN Convention against Corruption.

At the end of the presentations, the results were summarized and the performances of each team were evaluated.

At the conference, according to the results of the competition Master's program students of Tashkent State University of Law made a presentation on the practice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the presentation was positively evaluated by foreign and domestic experts.

At the end of the event, all participants were given special certificates.
