In celebration of the International Day of the Girl, Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) hosted a cultural and educational event entitled “Girls Around the World.”
Organized by the university’s Gender Equality Club with the support of the TSUL Women’s Council, the event took place at the university’s Second Student Residence and became a vibrant celebration bringing together diverse cultures, national values, and traditions.
Ten teams participated in the event, showcasing the cultural diversity of various regions of Uzbekistan and foreign countries.
Through national costumes, traditional dances and music, national dishes, and creative performances dedicated to historical and cultural heritage, the participants introduced the audience to the customs and traditions of different peoples.
The teams’ performances were evaluated by a jury based on several criteria, including content, creativity, representation of national values, stage performance, and teamwork.
The event provided female students with an opportunity not only to demonstrate their talents and creative potential but also to learn about the history, culture, and lifestyles of other peoples and exchange experiences.
This initiative helped increase female students’ social engagement, promote intercultural dialogue, strengthen respect for national and universal values, and foster an atmosphere of tolerance.
